We’re proud to announce that endorsement applications are now open for Indigenous candidates running for office in 2025!
Since launching our endorsements program in 2022, Advance Native Political Leadership Action Fund has supported nearly 100 Native candidates running for local, state, and federal offices across the country. We’re building long-term infrastructure to elect Native leaders who represent the values and strength of our communities, from school boards to city councils to Congress.
Now, we’re looking ahead — and we’re inviting Indigenous candidates to apply for our next round of endorsements.
🗳 What does an endorsement from Advance mean?
An Advance endorsement is our public vote of confidence in your leadership.
Endorsed candidates receive:
• Use of our official logo and endorsement graphic for campaign materials
• Public announcement via our website, social media, and press release
• A formal endorsement letter
• Eligibility for post-election support, including a $1,000 bounceback stipend and debrief with our team
Applications are carefully reviewed by our endorsement committee to ensure alignment with our mission and values. While we cannot endorse every applicant, our selection process reflects a deep commitment to supporting candidates who share Advance’s vision for the future.
📅 Important Dates
We will make two endorsement announcements in Fall 2025:
• Apply by July 25 to be included in our early September slate
• Apply by August 25 for our mid-October slate
We encourage candidates to apply as soon as possible.
