Both programs have established guidelines, and participants are not permitted to participate in both simultaneously. We understand the severity of the situation, with SNAP on November 1st.
Programs at the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes are working diligently to get resources together for all tribal members and the community who are affected by the federal government shutdown and the possibility of losing SNAP benefits for November.
If you are on furlough due to the federal government shutdown and not receiving SNAP benefits, you will be eligible to apply for assistance once you have been without income for the past 30 days.
