Judge Dismisses Case No. CIV-13-042

President Parton appeared in CFR Court on July 16, 2013 along with the Tribe's legal counsel as authorized by the Wichita Executive Committee.  A motion to dismiss was filed in Case No. CIV-13-042.  The judge granted the defendant's motion to dismiss stating that the court lacks subject matter jurisdiction & the jurisdiction over the Tribe without an expressed waiver of sovereign immunity of the Tribe.  You may click on the following links to read the Complaint, Motion to Dismiss and the Civil Minute Order.
