Supplements ICW by providing services to Wichita children who have been placed in out-of-home care with emergency needs and for Wichita members who are involved in involuntary custody proceedings in state or tribal court. This program will also assist families who are experiencing some type of crisis that might put the children at risk for child abuse, neglect and/or removal from the home.

Provides preventive services to families who have children who may be at risk for child abuse, neglect and/or removal from their home. Services provided are based on the needs of the family to remain together and also provides services to families who have experienced some type of crisis that might put the children at risk. This program teaches clients to identify their family’s strengths and weaknesses by assisting them in finding workable solutions that promote life skills. Referrals are made to address weaknesses that may cause the family to break up. The goal is to keep families together.

Certifies individuals who want to become Foster Care Providers for our Wichita children who are in state and/or tribal custody.
