About Me:

My name is Alayna Jackson and I come from the Diné People of the Diné Nation. The community I am from is Dilkon, AZ. My clans are: Redhouse clan, born for the Towering House clan. My maternal grandparents are Salt clan and my paternal grandparents are Edge Water clan. I was born and raised in Arizona and graduated from Winslow High School in 2011. My significant other and I have a total of 8 children, and they range from 19 down to 4. While this pandemic has us in for a loop, during our time off we enjoy dancing and singing at powwows, and have travelled around the country competing in powwows. On my time off I enjoy sewing and beading and creating new things for my family or for others.

I always want others to create a great path for themselves, with the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes Education Services Department, my goal is to be there for the tribal citizens by supporting and encouraging them to become someone they are proud of and to achieve great things.

"Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world."

- Lucille Ball
