The Wichita Tobacco Cessation Program:
The Wichita Tobacco Cessation Program is designed to help the Native American community with commercial tobacco cessation and prevention. Long term goals for this program are to reduce rates of death by disability from tobacco use, reduce the prevalence of obesity, and reduce the rate of death and disability from diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. Commercial tobacco effects every aspect of a person's health and we are here to help Native People lead healthier lifestyles.
