VICTIMS OF CRIME ACTS Program

 Purple DV Ribbon

The Victims of Crime Acts (VOCA) Program goals is to help a victim regain independence after being victimized.  The Victims Advocate works with local courts, law enforcement agencies, criminal justice officials, and crime victim's service providers to provide services and community resources.  A Coordinated Community Response Team (CRRT) has been developed to assist the community with services for clients involved in any type of victimization.  This team consists of law enforcement, local court personnel, tribal entities, domestic violence organizations, medical staff, BIA, social service agencies, and DHS. Our community has a state victim witness coordinator and the tribes Victims Advocate and both work closely with clients to assist with compensation after they have been involved in victimization.
