Wichita & Affiliated Tribes Community Workforce & Unemployment Survey

Feb 4, 2026 | TERO, Wichita Tribal News, WTIDC

The Wichita Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) Commission and the Wichita Tribe Industrial Development Commission (WTIDC) are launching a community survey to better understand employment, unemployment, and workforce needs across our Tribal membership.

This survey will help us:
• Estimate an unemployment rate for the Wichita Tribe
• Identify workforce development, training, and employment needs
• Better serve both local and at-large Tribal members

Who can participate:
All enrolled Wichita and Affiliated Tribes members 18 years and older

Survey Open: February 3rd
Survey Closes: February 23rd

At the end of the survey, participants will be directed to a separate landing page where they may choose to enter their contact information to be entered into a drawing for door prizes. Participation in the drawing is optional.

Important:
Please complete the survey only once, as each participant may only be entered one time. Drawings will take place on February 24th.

Take the Survey

We strongly encourage our Tribal members who live at-large to participate so we can ensure we receive a representative sample of our full membership.

Privacy, Data Sovereignty & Good Governance:
All responses will be kept confidential. Individual responses will not be shared publicly. Survey results will be reported in summary form only and used to support workforce development planning, program design, and funding opportunities.

Data collected through this survey is the property of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes and will be maintained in accordance with Tribal data governance principles. Access to raw data will be limited to authorized staff supporting workforce and economic development initiatives. Data will not be sold or shared with outside parties without Tribal authorization.

Findings and high-level results will be shared back with the community once the survey period has closed.
