Monica Izavel Martinez, 23, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, recently competed in her first-ever National American Miss Oklahoma pageant, earning 1st Place in Fun Fitness, 2nd Place in Casual Wear, 2nd Place in Miss Personality, and 3rd Place Overall in the Miss Division, which had the largest number of contestants at the state pageant.
A 2021 graduate of Anadarko High School, Martinez is a proud enrolled tribal member of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes. Raised in Anadarko, she later graduated with honors from Oral Roberts University with a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship.
As she begins her entrepreneurial journey, Martinez hopes to use business as a platform to inspire and mentor the next generation. Through leadership, faith, and service, she is passionate about encouraging young people to recognize their worth, pursue their purpose, and become confident leaders in their communities.
Martinez is honored to represent her hometown of Anadarko, the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes, and the state of Oklahoma.
